About the Session:

PoisedDNA's photo sessions are designed to create a comfortable and energetic atmosphere with the goal of getting a wide range of images to bring out the NATURAL you. Always remember that a positive attitude and peaceful manner are critical to helping us deliver the best shots to help you reach your goals.

We'll shoot a minimum of three different looks. This gives you the opportunity to use multiple shots for your various needs and purposes. We will take photos until the photos meet our standards for excellence.

Generally, we take anywhere between 100 and 175 shots at the session. During the selection process, you'll have a chance to go through all your images and select your favorite shots. At the end of the shoot, you will have roughly 70-100 final photos, ready to be retouched and printed.

 Retouching & Printing:

After the shoot, we refer our clients to a print vendor that we work closely with to ensure that you receive the same quality of service in the post production process. The next step will be to retouch the shots you selected and prep them for printing. We will set up an appointment for you to view and approve the retouching before final printing. Please note that we shoot ALL color, but photos can be converted to black and white based on your preferences.

Wardrobe:

We ask that you bring several wardrobe options (at least six to seven different looks) to capture your everyday look. They should be simple and natural. Please carefully choose your wardrobe and avoid overly trendy or seasonal clothing. If you're still unsure about what you've chosen, bring your selections with you on the day of the shoot and we will offer guidance and advice.

 Hair & Makeup:

Hair and makeup is a separate fee of $100 per session, which is paid directly to the hair/makeup artist the day of the shoot. The makeup artist is there throughout the duration of the shoot to ensure that you look your best. If you would like to do your own makeup, we suggest that you come "makeup ready" to the shoot.

Rate & Scheduling:

Our headshot rate is $350. There is a non-refundable $100 deposit required to book a session which will be applied to the $350 total. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we understand completely. Please give us at least two days notice; otherwise you forfeit your deposit.

We are happy to schedule a consultation. During that time, you will have a chance to ask us any questions and discuss preparation for the shoot.

Payments:

As mentioned above, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to book a session and is due after you've chosen a day & time for your shoot. We accept cash and checks. The remaining balance ($250) must be paid on the day of the session.*
